We deep-freeze each bowl the day it’s made — the cold does the preserving, keeping it fresh for up to a month.
One thaw. Then dinner.
Thaw in the fridge and use within 3 days. Want it to last longer? Bag portions separately when it arrives, freeze them, and thaw only what you need.

Our mission
Dogs love with everything they have. Their food should love them back.
They wait by the door. They forgive in seconds. They love without keeping score, every single day
of their lives. Our mission is to return that devotion the one way every dog understands —
a warm, honest bowl, made just for them.
Not pet food. Food — never boxed into breakfast, dinner,
or topper. A bowl is whatever your pup needs it to be, decided by the person who knows them best:
you. It's the least we owe the most loving souls we know.

Most dog food starts the same way. Age, breed, weight, activity level — answer four
questions and something on the other end decides which recipe your dog gets. It’s tidy,
it’s fast, and it can be useful. It also means very different dogs end up in the same
few buckets.

The person who knows your dog isn’t an algorithm. It’s whoever is
standing in the kitchen at six in the morning, being watched.
They have different tastes, routines, quirks, sensitivities, favorite foods and stubborn
opinions — and you already know all of it. We’re not trying to replace what you
know about your dog. We’re trying to give you a way to use it.
There is no algorithm. We don’t ask your dog’s age.
We don’t ask their activity level. Nothing here calculates a portion for you or
assigns your dog a recipe. You slide the bowl to the size you want and you fill it —

Pups Takeout Kitchen is a small kitchen in Michigan that cooks fresh, whole-food meals for dogs — real food, made with the same care you'd put into it yourself.
You pick the ingredients and the amounts. We handle the shopping, the cooking, the portioning, and the delivery — so dinner is something you both get to look forward to.
And what it is, is up to you: some pups get it as their whole meal, some get it spooned over their usual food as a topper, some only on gotcha days — and for the big ones there's dog birthday catering. Same kitchen, same care — the size slider goes from a spoonful to a feast.
